• 2 cups all purpose gluten free flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 1/4 cups cold water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Grease and lightly flour two 9x1 1/2" round baking pans
  3. Combine first 3 ingredients.
  4. In a mixer beat butter for about 30 seconds.
  5. Add sugar and vanilla and beat until combined
  6. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each
  7. Beat in cooled chocolate
  8. Add dry ingredients and cold water alternately
  9. Turn into prepared pans
  10. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or till done
  11. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pans
