from Quick and Easy recipes
- Pizza Dough - I like to used the pre-made dough from Trader Joes. Try the whole wheat version if you want it to be more healthy.
- Sauce - You can use a jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce or use tomato sauce with a few spices mixed in. I normally use a little garlic salt, Italian seasoning and some basil.
- Cheese - Whatever your preference is will work!
- Toppings - My favorite is bell peppers and olives, but get creative! Try and use as many fresh vegetables as possible for a healthy version.
- Olive oil - brush with a bit of olive oil after cooking, it's good for you!
Knead the dough into a nice, even heart shape. Make sure edges are raised for crust and be sure that the middle isn't too thin or it will burn. Spread the sauce evenly, about 1/4" thick. Sprinkle cheese over entire pizza, then add whatever toppings you have chosen. You can sprinkle more cheese over your toppings if you like. Bake in oven according to directions on the dough package. Crust should be a nice golden brown. Once you remove your heart shaped pizza from the oven, try drizzling a little olive oil on it. It's a great way to get the essential fats you need with very little effort.
Now all you have to do is enjoy your Heart-Shaped Valentine's Day Pizza with your sweetheart
