Camp Baker summer sessions slated for those with developmental disabilities
--Activities include a talent show, swimming, horseback riding and more
CHESTERFIELD, Va. (March 26, 2013)--During a talent show at The Greater Richmond ARC's Camp Baker last summer, one teen delighted the audience by concluding his song with, "thank you. Thank you very much."
It is a sentiment that many in the crowd shared, as Camp Baker has provided summer overnight and day camp programs for years for individuals with developmental disabilities.
The action-packed week includes swimming, horseback riding, nature walks, and arts and crafts for campers.
The overnight camp schedule this year is as follows:
June 16-June 21, 2013 (ages 18 and over)
June 23-June 28, 2013 (ages 18 and over)
June 30-July 5, 2013 (ages 18 and over)
July 7-July 12 (ages 18 and over)
July 14-July 19 (ages 18 and over)
July 28- August 2 (ages 18 and over)
August 4-August 9 (ages 5-17)
August 11-August 16 (ages 5-17)
