– Saturday 11/10, from 8 AM to 4 PM at the Midas stores on Hull Street, in Colonial Heights and in Short Pump come in donate blood and be a part of neighbors helping neighbors – AND –, we will give every donor a certificate for a free oil change. 

All the pints we collect being exported to New York and New Jersey.   These areas are currently suffering from very high levels of demand and an acute shortage of donors, as many are tied up doing more urgent things.

Bob Carden, the CEO of VBS, is getting his staff and resources ready for what will, hopefully, be our biggest drive ever.  Normally we see 400 to 450 people, our goal for this coming drive is 600 to 700, that will allow us a much broader geographic footprint within which to deliver blood.
