I wanted to let you guys know about a fantastic project my 10 year daughter Kathryn “KAT” Godfrey has taken on.

She is doing a relief effort for those effected by the hurricane in NJ. “BB FOR JERSEY” is the name of her effort and she is collecting Boots and Blankets.

 She is doing this on Saturday November 17 at Chickahominy middle school from 9-12. She has gotten Delegate John Cox, with Cox transportation to donate a truck to deliver the items donated.

Papa johns will be giving out treats during the drive, 360 Graphics has donated T-shirts and Frame packaging has donated a banner!

It is just awesome how the community has rallied around her to achieve this. She has been going to local Hanover businesses to get the word out and she has even gone to county agencies for help! I was hoping maybe you all could put it in the news this week? She is really hoping to fill the truck with items for the people whose lives have been so devastated!
