Kelly Hildebrandt and Kelly Hildebrandt are getting a divorce. 

Wait... how does that happen?

Well, we're talking about a man and woman that share identical names. They initially met over Facebook back in 2008 when Kelly Katrina Hildebrandt was feeling bored and decided to search for people with her own name.

Kelly Carl Hildebrandt was the only individual she came across, so sent him a message.

"She said, 'Hi. We had the same name. Thought it was cool,’” Kelly Carl Hildebrandt explained in 2009. "I thought she was pretty cute."

The two began e-mailing each other, which then led to daily phone calls. Eventually, Kelly Carl paid a visit to Kelly Katrina’s Coral Springs, Florida home. Kelly Carl immediately fell in love.

In December 2008, Kelly Katrina Hildebrandt was on the beach, when she discovered a diamond ring hidden in a treasure box. The couple got married soon after, in 2009.

"He is just everything that I've ever looked for," Kelly Katrina said. "There's always been certain qualities that a guy has to have. And he has all the ones I could think of - and more."

That sounds great, but now the two are splitting. Kelly Carl is living in Texas again, and plans to avoid dating or marrying another female with the same name.

“I wouldn’t want my future spouse to have to deal with everything from before,” he said. “That wouldn’t be a fair situation, given the media coverage.”

Apparently, Kelly Katrina has deleted her Facebook page.
